Re: 1244 Rip Audio CD inspects only one CD drive
I have machine with CD drives D: and G: and I am unable to reproduce.
Inserted CD in D:
Clicked Tools | Rip Audio CD
-> CD rip dialog successfuly opened
Ejected CD from D:
Inserted CD into G:
Clicked Tools | Rip Audio CD
-> CD rip dialog successfuly opened.
Could you re-test? Are you sure you inserted an audio CD and not a data CD?

Yes, but a data CD does give the same effect... including ejecting the other and empty drive.
However since this observation on a new installed OS I have found some other oddities with drive E: on some programs (a retro-fit Plextor) so will reinstall drives and test again.
Thanks L.
