Tracks get tagged as podcast episodes [#5710]

Hi,
in my lib I have two ordinary songs that get tagged as podcast episodes. They are listed in the "PodcastEpisodes" table, the "Podcasts" table and also the IDEpisode field in the "Song" table is filled.
I already cleaned these details (cleared IDEpisode and removed the "PodcastEpisodes" and "Podcasts" entries) but evertime they appear again after some days. It all always the same songs that are mishandled.

I couldn't reproduce this till now but maybe it happens when refreshing the podcasts I've subscribed.

Seen in the last builds on Vista Home Premium SP1.

Do they have "Podcast" in the genre?

No they don't.
They are also very early tracks from the first days of my lib.

What version number of MM?

I'm currently using 3.1.0.1248 but I can't say whether the tracks reappered in this build. It's also possible that they were marked as podcast episode in an earlier build.

Ok, now I installed b1250 and deleted the wrong entries in the tables PodcastEpisodes and Podcasts. Furthermore I change the field IDEpisode to -1 for the affected songs.
Did I miss some "podcast detail"?

Now let's see when the tracks reappear as podcasts.

fyi, the 'problem' I'd reproduced was likely a different issue than you're facing. In my case, I'd scanned some tracks of Genre=Podcast, and soon after changed the genre to Audiobook, the result being that the tracks appeared as an unsubscribed podcast.

If your problem persists, you might want to send in a copy of your db to me for analysis (rs at mediamonkey[dot)com).
