Just installed 3.1.0.1248 today on XP/SP3 dual-monitor system (ATI FireGL V3400 card).
Context (right-click) menus simply do not pop if a dialog is on monitor #2. No problem at all if dialog is on monitor #1.
Until I noticed that they worked on monitor #1, I was also getting frustrated in that the clipboard shortcuts worked inconsistently. Was just trying to copy text out of certain fields in the Properties dialog (and a few others), and sometimes Cntl-Ins would work when Cntl-C didn't, sometimes the other way around, sometimes neither at all.
Seems important to have the context menus working, regardless of which monitor a dialog is over.
Thanks...

What is your Multi Monitor Setting [1][2] or [2][1] or You use ATi Hydravision or any other desktop Span app?

That machine is [2][1]. Not running Hydravision or anything like that. Just plain vanilla.Peke wrote:What is your Multi Monitor Setting [1][2] or [2][1] or You use ATi Hydravision or any other desktop Span app?

Re: BUG: Context Menus won't pop on 2nd Monitor
I'm not Able to replicate on my system No matter what I do context always show beside Mouse cursor no matter what I do on my ATi 4870 and Catalyst driver 9.4/9.5 Have you tried to Run regedit and delete/rename "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MediaMonkey\Interface" (you will need to set MM layout again, but it may help).
Are you using Latest Drivers?
BTW Why Don't You set [1][2] and reverse monitor connections on GPU to get same layout?

Re: BUG: Context Menus won't pop on 2nd Monitor
Huh. Well, it wouldn't be the first time I had "unique" things happen on that box. (Curiously?, Outlook Express context menus always pop on [1] when the main app is on [2], as well.) Also, from my own work with multimonitor code, I know that [2] is entirely in negative coordinate space (x=0 on line between monitors) on that box.
That machine is at the office, so I won't see it again until Monday. Will try a few things then. Definitely don't have drivers from last month! It's been quite awhile since I felt the need to update those. (Didn't I hear they went to .NET based code? That scares the hell outta me for a video driver.)
Well, until early next week.
Thanks...

Re: BUG: Context Menus won't pop on 2nd Monitor
.NET is used for control panel app only (The only thing I found that uses .NET):(
You should try latest ATT for managing GPU and multires for Monitor settings.
To avoid .NET for drivers and have all the functionality Follow these Steps:
1. Download Latest Driver
2. Start Installation of driver that will extract all driver components to (c:\AMD\FirePro_8.583_XP32_77157\)
3. Cancel Installation After first screen
4. go to c:\AMD\FirePro_8.583_XP32_77157\ and Delete CPanel, CCC and NET32 Folders
5. Download My modification of CPanel from http://www.MegaFTP.com/27094 and extract it to c:\AMD\FirePro_8.583_XP32_77157\
6. Install driver (c:\AMD\FirePro_8.583_XP32_77157\setup.exe)
After Restart you should have all previous options without fancy Catalyst Control Center
NOTE: ATT has hidden option in atitray.ini when you append this line hide_display=0 to the end of file where you'll get display control inside ATT.
If You have any Doubts/Questions regarding installation feel free to ask
