As of 1272, gapless playback issues I've experienced have been fixed. However, any time playback is stopped, then started at another track, I tiny (~200ms) piece of the previous song (from the last playback point) plays before the new track begins. I am no programmer, so I can only speculate at the cause of the issue; perhaps MM1272+ doesn't flush the buffer at each new track during playback (which it shouldn't), but also doesn't flush the buffer at a user-dictated stop or track-change command (which it should).
Thanks for your efforts creating this great piece of software! I hope this information helps in the ongoing effort.

For whatever it's worth, this problem occurs on my system even when the equalizer is inactive.
