After attempting to add netbios paths to the add rescan dialog (\\servername\video\HD for example) the add rescan function scanned the ROOT path (the share "video" in this example) and not the sub folder ("HD" in this example).

Re: Add/Rescan does not scan correct folders
I was able to isolate this a bit more.
If you open the Add/Rescan dialog from the "Location" node int he Entire Library tree (possibly elsewhere) and then add a node (such as \\servername\share\folder) then the scan WILL scan just that folder.
If you open the A/R dialog from the File menu it will not scan properly (it will likely scan a node you added some previous time, I can't identify the logic). So the issue seems to be where you open the dialog from.

Re: Add/Rescan does not scan correct folders
I'm no longer able to reproduce here so a debug log send to support might be helpful.
For me it started when right click on Location node to scan, as well as through the File menu.

This works like expected (proposed), A/R dialog remembers history (last checked folders) until you select a folder in Main Treekknostman wrote:I was able to isolate this a bit more.

Re: 1343: Add/Rescan does not scan correct folders [#7156]
The fact that checkboxes are missing is the probable cause of this as it wouldn't allow deselecting folders that are set to be scanned.
