1345: "Views" button stays depressed [#7231]

The Views button (on the Views toolbar) remains depressed after you click (and release). The view will switch as expected, but the button image remains as that of the old view and remains depressed. It stays this way until you move the mouse pointer off of the button.

For me, it occurs every time. However, I did just notice that sometimes it looks like the button flickers to the correct display, but then switches back to the 'pressed previous view.' Your lack of producing this every time may be due to the XP/Vista difference. Well, doesn't appear the XP/Vista theory is correct, as I get the same behavior in XP compatibility mode (though as I've said before, an actually XP system may function differently than compatibility mode).

EDIT: Actually, I just found that it's not just the Views button, same occurs with Play Now. So it's looking like it's any button that has a drop down (is there any others besides those two?)

Back and Forward, but again it's only sometimes it happens for me.

As I noted in my comment to the Bug entry, it looks to affect most/all toolbar buttons. The player buttons on the other hand appear to be fine. Don't know why it would present for me every time, and only sometimes for you however. Though, you have seen it, so I know I'm not crazy... lol.
