1346 spacebar when using minilyrics + playback [bug#7309]

Hello.


1: play a track or video in mediamonkey
2: right click minilyrics panel and open the search for lyrics dialog window.
3: Press the spacebar in one of the input fields ( ie. to specify and artist name )

=> -The spacebar stops/resume the playback.
-No space is inputted in the field. Making it impossible to type multiple words.

Did you setup a hotkey for Space? Does Space do this in other circumstances?

No, all hotkeys are default. I mean I didn't setup anything re. hotkeys.

Does Space do this in other circumstances?

Good question. I'll have to investigate that.

Check the hotkeys anyway as a fresh install of 1346 should enable this hotkey.

yes no problem to write in the properties window.
Unlike in the minilyrics dialog window.

Yes, I can confirm this problem. Seems that since minilyrics is a MM plugin, MM captures it's hotkeys even if they are not set to global.

Yes I can replicate using i.e. "A" as hotkey.

I wouldn't know which plugin to test it on. Any idea?


Btw: the problem present itself also when playing audio tracks. It's not specific to video.
I will update my first post to reflect this.

I don't know, maybe the MonkeyRok panel has user input.
