1373: Back/Forward Shortcuts toolbar missing [#7803]

Post by Lowlander »

I'm missing the Back/Forward buttons (Shortcuts toolbar) in 1373. Does anyone see the same?

They're under "Tree" when configuring a toolbar.

But shouldn't it be available by default (I think I disabled the toolbar and then maybe since upgrade it has been lost) in a toolbar?

Not sure. My "Shortcuts" toolbar was imported from MM3 so it appears there isn't a default toolbar with those icons.

I've done clean installs and it was still there, but since 1371 or 1373 the Shortcuts toolbar is missing.

Yes, they used to be in a standard toolbar together with collapse tree. I can't remember it's name though. I've installed 1373 over 1370 and it's gone. Feature or bug, I don't know, but I think it should be within default toolbars again, although you can easily create a custom one.

The shortcuts toolbar is included in 1376 again. But it's the only default toolbar, that I can configure and delete. Is it expected that all default toolbars appear in toolbar configuration menu to be edited instead of just having the choice wether to switch them on or off?

Context toolbar can't be configured (has different items in it depending on the view).
Search toolbar can't be configured

So the only thing left is the view toolbar.
