Two issues
1) In the Hotkey, there are hotkeys to change “Views”, which seem to switch between “Tabs”. Right clicking says “Close Tab”. I think you should be consistent with your naming.
2) If I Ctrl+Left Click to select multiple tracks, then while, holding left click, the hot key doesn’t work to switch tabs. This would be very useful if this was possible.

1) Which specific hotkey are you talking about? Where do you right click?
2) Ctrl+Tab & Ctrl+Shift+Tab are the hotkeys to switch tabs: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7753

Re: [1403] Hotkey for switching tabs
1) In Tools|Options|HotKeys, it says "General: Go to next view". If you right click on the tab at the top of the screen, it says "Close Tab". I think the word View should be changed to Tab. Picky I know, but a simple fix.
2) Ctrl+Tab, doesn't work, while holding down left click. It would be nice to be able to left click on several tracks. Then switch to a different tab, then drag them on to a different tree.
Perhaps this has been disabled, on purpose.

Re: [1403] Hotkey for switching tabs
1) It is the browse forward hotkey, ie. it goes forward in your History.
2) You can left click on multiple files by holding down the Ctrl key to select individual files or Shift key to select a selection of files.

Re: [1403] Hotkey for switching tabs
You seem to be answering questions, that I am not even asking.
I know what each keypress does and how to select multiple items. I am a software engineer. I know how software works and how to use it.
These are statements. I am logging 2 possible bugs.
1) The text "General: Go to next view", should read "General: Go to next tab". The shortcut, switches tabs. It does not go back and forward in history.
2) Ctrl+Tab does not work, while holding down left-click. This might be by design.

1) It works on browser history here
2) Of course, as you're doing a left click+ctrl+tab

Re: [1403] Hotkey for switching tabs
Hi toof4st,
Thanks for the reports.
1) I can't replicate the behaviour you describe. i.e. the 'General: Go to next view' action, actually switches to the last visited node (it doesn't switch tabs, at least not for me). Note: I still think that the wording should be changed since 'View' could be confusing--tracked here: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8174
2) I was able to replicate that previously as well, but it seems to be working as of 1411.
