shortcuts not working [#8371]

newly assigned playback shortcuts aint functional, whether global or not (play/pause/stop/last/next failed, rating can be used)

im using build 1421 in portable mode.

i just deleted the ini file and tried to workaround.no success yet in portable mode =/

Hotkeys are saved to the registry, not the .ini.

thanks for the hint.
i deleted all hotkeys from .registry file and noticed they appear again on next app exit, as kind of defaults.
one can assign hotkeys that aint used by other actions in order to use em. so i use shift instead of ctrl
the ability to completely change them would be nice though.

well its still kinda messed up in 1426 (portable) =(
shortcuts the way i wanna use em are gone on next restart.

reproduction:
1_allocate ctrl+[the 4 arrow keys] GLOBAL for playback
or shift+[the 4 arrow keys] GLOBAL for playback (i use left for last song, right for next one, up for play/pause and down for stop)
2_restart mm
3_play queue and try to use the hotkeys

they are overwritten by default hotkeys every startup,pls fix that >_-
noone else having problems with hotkeys?

Hi Dr. Snuggles,

I just tested this out in MM Portable (1426 running on Win 7), and the Global hotkeys do seem to be preserved after restarting MM.

Does the problem still occur when you use different hotkeys (maybe there's a conflict with those specific hotkeys)?

i recognized that these global playback shortcuts will only work (4 me) when mm isnt in foreground.
glaboal rating shortcuts works in fore+background.

i tested some combinations (shift, ctrl, alt), deleted duplicate actions (which will reappear after next startup).
still persistent in 1431.

maybe it is possible to set default hotkeys only on initial start
or if the \hotkeys\ registry key isnt found in registry or in the .registry file
or set another bool regkey to 1 when hotkeys were set

impossible to produce a usable debug log as the inputs doesnt get catched by mm and therefor they aint printed in dbgview.
