[1424] No Column picker in Illustration view [#8379]

Post by timelezz »

I can not do right-mouse click to get to the column picker when I'm in Illustration view (for a playlist).
In the other views I have no problem. Only in this view.

It works fine for me. What exactly do you mean by "Illustration" view?

I think timelezz is referring to the fact that the column picker isn't active in Art View.

That's by design--there are a very limited number of fields that make sense for sorting in this view.

Ah, that sounds reasonable. Perhaps it's a good idea to completely disable right-mouse-click for this to make it more clear to the user that it was disabled by intent? (Currently the right-mouse-click acts the same as the left-mouse-click). (Yes, I know it is a super-minor issue...)

Sound reasonable. Added at http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8379.

Adding and removing columns in Album Art view should be also made available. Yes, you say that only a couple of columns in this view make sense. But some of them I do not need at all. I want to have an option to remove it, as in e.g. Details view.
