Hi,
I just went from the last stable version of MM 3 to the latest beta 4, build #1426. I had some problem with smbd daemons on my QNAP nas that got stuck at 99% CPU usage after I did some tagging where embedded artwork was involved. Perhaps MM4 will solve this for me?
Well, anyway, the first problem I 've run into is a typical case of retro-testing. Something that was always there and performed OK and that is now gone, all of a sudden:
It used to be possible to navigate within a text field in the file properties dialogue box (SHIFT+ENTER, if you know what I mean) with the aid of the CONTROL button and the arrow buttons.
For example:
CTRL+right = skip one word to the right
CTRL+left = skip one word to the left.
Now, pressing the CTRL in conjunction with any arrow key has no added value anymore.
Pressing SHIFT+CTRL+arrow will select a word as it should do. Strange!
This bug significantly slows me down while tagging. It's an absolute must-have for me!
I assume this can be fixed faily easily, seeing as it used to be possible?!
regards,
Hans Valeton

Re: #1426# Navigation with Control+arrow not functioning
It works fine for me.
1. Selected a track
2. Opened Propertes->Basic tab
3. Selected a text box
4. Pressed CTRL+right
=> skipped one word to the right
What are your steps?
BTW: Something similar has been already fixed: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7243

Re: #1426# Navigation with Control+arrow not functioning
Thanks--I'm able to replicate this on Windows 7 (it occurs in the Properties dialog but not for editing in place).
