atrwork column shows on wrong side of view [#8367]

running MM4beta 1436:
sometimes, when I select the art+details view, regardless of the tree node, the artwork column shows up on the right rather then the left side, where I have it configured to show. this sequence of actions will cause this: others will as well that I have not been able to replicate.
>rip new album from cd
>find new album in library using art view
>try to autotag cover art from web, find that it can not be found
>go to internet to find artwork, copy image
>back in MM, select new album in artwork view and then choose art+detail view in order to be able to paste image
in this sequence, the artwork column shows up on the right side of the view. after pasting the image, if I right click on a column head and choose choose columns, the correct order shows up the window. when closing the column configure window, the artwork column goes back to the correct side (left). If I do not do this, choosing another view, like artwork, and returning to the art+details view, the artwork column remains on the right side.
Is this a bug or something else? can anyone else recreate this sequence?

It appears that using autotag or going to the web and finding album art to paste in an album file will cause the artwork column to move to the end of the column list, even if it has been previously ordered to be at the beginning of the list (left side). this shows up when I select the art+details view after identifying the new album using the art view.

I can't replicate in 1436, but we're still studying this issue. If you have any more information about this problem, please share.

I have my artwork column customized to appear at the top of the list, ie, in the leftmost column. This covers all the nodes under the Music category of the tree. After ripping an album I have to find it in the MM library (another separate complaint issue I have) and I usually use the Art view to quickly scroll through my library to find the untagged new album. I highlight it, and then go out to the web (either using autotag or my own google search) to find cover artwork and then copy the image. If I get it on my own, when I return to MM I select the Art+Details view in order to get the artwork column to accept a paste command of the new album cover art. In this sequence of actions, the artwork column will appear on the right column instead of the left in Art+Details view. If I rightclick on the column headings and open the box to customize columns, the artwork option has dropped to the bottom of the list. However, if I click on customize the columns, my own previously organized columns shows the artwork correctly at the top of the list. When I close this dialogue box, the column arrangement resets properly.
If I don't open the column dialogue box, and leave this view for another and then return, the columns remain in the incorrect order until I open the column dialogue box to reset again.
Does this make sense? I don't know if you can recreate the issue. I do know, though, that it also happened occasionally with MM3, so perhaps MM4 is reading something squirrelly from that code??
