Several times over the past week or two I have experienced a strange bug, when I try to skip to the next track in my playlist, occasionally the seek bar (not sure what it's actually called, but the bar that says how much time has passed in the song and how much time is left) stays at 0:00 and does not let me click to jump around the track. I fix it by simply pressing Play again, which starts the track over and the seek bar works perfectly fine.
This didn't happen until recently, unfortunately I do not remember which version it started happening in, but it just happened for me on 1441 so I wanted to report it while it's fresh in my mind.

Re: 1441: Tracks occasionally do not initialize seek bar
Hi Ben,
Thanks. Unfortunately, I can't replicate. If this is happening often enough, would you mind leaving dbview running and sending us a log?

Re: 1441: Tracks occasionally do not initialize seek bar
Yes I'll run DebugView when I use MediaMonkey for a while and if it happens, I'll send you the log from that session.
It doesn't happen very often, but often enough that I should be able to capture it soon.
Thanks,
Ben

Re: 1441: Tracks occasionally do not initialize seek bar
btw, is it specific to any particular file type (e.g. MP3, flac, etc.) ? Also, what output plugin are you using?
Thanks.

Thanks.

Re: 1441: Tracks occasionally do not initialize seek bar
It's only happened on MP3 files so far for me, but that's literally about 99.9% of my library so it's tough to say. I'll try to test it on some files of other types.
Currently I'm using the DirectSound output plugin--is that the preferred one to use, or is it WASAPI now? I haven't changed it manually.

Re: 1441: Tracks occasionally do not initialize seek bar
OK, hopefully you'll be able to capture this in a debug log.
The DS plugin is fine (preferred by me, and still safer in general due to the newness of the wasapi plugin).

Re: 1441: Tracks occasionally do not initialize seek bar
I've reproduced this by clicking Next just after rating the song. (tracked already as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8415)

Thanks MiPi... the problem was a bit elusive when I was running DebugLog, I haven't had it happen again since trying to capture it
