Hi there,
In MMPortable, when using the 'Close to tray' option, MM closes to the tray but there is no icon so can't be restored. MM is still running in Task Manager and has to be closed from there. The only way to have the icon visible is to also use the 'Always show tray icon' option.
In MM standard, when using the 'Close to tray' option, MM closes to MicroPlayer instead. (Maybe that's what's also happening in MMPortable but because MicroPlayer has been disabled, there is nothing to see.)
Cheers.

Yes, that would be expected as MediaMonkey incorrectly closes to the MicroPlayer which has been reported before. This isn't considered a bug though.

Thanks Lowlander. Sorry for the double-thread.

I wish they would just let close to tray actually close to tray like every other program instead of microplayer which already has its own button.

Re: [1451] 'Close to tray' icon missing.
Or change the wording in Options - if it's going to "close to microplayer" don't call it "close to tray".
In fact there should be two completely different options, one for "close to microplayer" and another for "close to tray", especially now that microplayer has been disabled in MMPortable.
