I removed all the music from the iphone and upgraded it to 5.1.1. Later, I synced the music to iphone. When i click on the iphone in MM and see the play count of the songs in the MM, the number is in hundreds and sometime in thousand.
Here is the screenshot of the count after i click on iphone icon in MM.

The actual number should however be should be like this:

Jisan, you have already confirmed that the issue is fixed: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 68#p340860
I doubt that there was a change regarding this from 1497.
I guess that the Played# values are just affected from the past times when the issue occured. i.e. if you edit the Played# values (set them to zero) then i guess that the issue does't occur. Can you confirm?
i.e.
1. Delete all affected tracks from the device
2. Select them all in MediaMonkey and right click -> Properties
3. Set Play counter field to zero
4. Sync them to the device

So, i tried following steps based on your feedback.
I set the play count to zero for all tracks in iphone. I disconnected the phone. Played one song and then connected the phone again.
It is now syncing correctly!
Thank you for your help.
I assumed that its a regression bug as it was behaving in similar way. So, i raised it again.
