Came across an interesting little problem while syncing my 4th gen ipod touch on ios6.1
Seems if a track has the same artist and title even though it may be from a different album, MM will only sync one of the song.
Example
Artist 1 - Song - Studio Album
Artist 1 - Song - Live Album
Only one of these songs will sync even though they are both supposed to sync.
If I change the info for the second song to
Artist 1 - Song (Live) - Live Album
Then they both sync fine.
Anyone else run into this problem?

Re: IOS 6.1 sync issue Same artist/title
Just downloaded the new 1623 build and confirmed I am having the same issue..
Re: IOS 6.1 sync issue Same artist/title
Hi, this seems to be a longstanding issue, because I can reproduce it also with 4.0.7
Will be fixed in build 1625 as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=10538

Ludek,
Thanks so much for the response to this issue?
Any idea when we can expect 1625?
Thanks for such a great product.

I can report this bug is fixed in 1625 but the issue remains that Mediamonkey wants to sync the entire library of songs every time even if there are no changes.

Re: IOS 6.1 sync issue Same artist/title
I can basically confirm with my iPod touch iOS 4.2.1 that 1625 still is having issues.
When I synched my device MM asked me to clean up the device since it is too full to sync all the files (using the "Unselected Library files" option). When I switched that to "All other media files" it presented me with the whole list of over 2400 files for deletion. I accepted and let the auto-sync do its job. The good news is that it was recopying everything rather than to just leave nothing but a few files on the device and didn't mess-up the Playlists like before.
I was hoping MM would now remember the files after one full sync with 1625 (the device was synced with 4.0.7 before). However, auto-sync is still trying to delete and reload everything everytime.

Thank you, I can reproduce the issue, it must be a regression in recent builds,

Re: IOS 6.1 sync issue Same artist/title
Just to give an update from my side. Auto-Sync in 1626 is now working very well for me.
The only (maybe cosmetic) issue that remains is with the device configuration panel. Selecting/seleclecting playlists that are already synched does not notably change the fill level down at the capacity bar. Wouldn't I expect the device to become almost empty when I deselect all playlists?
