MediaMonkey will not read non-integer BPM values in WMA files. Unfortunately, this means that BPM tags written by the excellent (and free) MixMeister BPM Analyzer are not seen by MediaMonkey.
I have confirmed that the tags are correctly written, and are seen by Windows Media Player 9, Tag&Rename, and other programs. If I manually edit them to remove the decimal, MediaMonkey will see them also, but that isn't feasible in a large library.
This is a big deal for me, because the reason I was originally attracted to MediaMonkey in preference to WMP, WinAmp, etc., is the flexibilty of configuring the display screens to include BPM, which most other players can't do.
Can MediaMonkey be fixed to import BPM tags of the form "123.45" from WMA files?
Does anyone know of a workaround?

Re: bug reading BPM tag in WMA files
Been looking around the forum for an answer to the wma bpm question and can't locate one. Has it ever been fixed or a good workaround supplied?pmonkey wrote:MediaMonkey will not read non-integer BPM values in WMA files.
