I use g-mail notifier as a mail client. When i click on a mailto link gmail notifier opens up a browser window (i'm using k-meleon) to a new email message.
Think that's the problem?

I think that the send to > email requires a desktop mail client. Can you email files like this from other applications like Windows Explorer? That would verify that the method itself works or not.

When I right click-->e-mail from windows explorer,Windows live launches, and I'm able to send the file from there.
Shouldn't mediamonkey fire up windows live?

I think it should. Do you know which application (MediaMonkey, Windows Live Mail, Windows, other) is giving the error you describe in the first post?

That's correct, I got time to test and MediaMonkey with Windows Live Mail as default client doesn't work.

Can you please write down what error code is reported by MediaMonkey as they are maybe Modal Return codes from client and not MM bug but rather Regression?

Example:
Error Sending Mail (1) = I Canceled Compose of mail in Client

What details do you need to know?

Windows Live Mail is setup with 2 email accounts.
Outlook has no email associated with it (just tested for result).
