1256 After Portable/Audio Devices delete Cancel fails[#5870]

1 Click Tools | Options ...
2 In Portable/Audio Devices, Available Devices / Plug-ins, select a device and click Delete
3 Click Cancel
4 Click Tools | Options ...

Expected: no change since #1
Observed: devices is deleted i.e. Cancel has failed to cancel the change.

Reproduced here, this seems like faulty behavior for sure.

I'm guessing we'd find a lot of failing Cancels if we wanted to look....
