Splash screen will NOT go away [#6720]

OS: Windows 7 (Fully up-to-date)
MM: Latest Beta (v3.2.3.1303)

Problem:
When I start, MM the splash screen comes up, like it should.
Then The tray icon is visible, like it should.
Music starts playing were it left off, like it should.
The Splash screen never goes away!
The main window doesn't open.

IF i right click on the tray icon, the click restore - That opens, still with the splash screen.
IF I right click on the tray icon and exit, The splash screen goes, and then the media monkey main window is visible with the error (see below), then after pressing okay it closes


Help? Its kinda hard to do work with the logo in the middle of the screen

This is due to a bug where a confirmation box is hidden behind the splash screen. Using /nosplash as Dreadlau suggested should allow you to access the confirmation box and start MediaMonkey.

Also there will be an option to disable the splashscreen in Tools --> Options --> General --> Show splash screen at startup.

I had this problem as well. I pinpointed that the problem was with magic nodes by removing addons one by one. I uninstalled and reinstalled magic nodes and the problem disappeared for me.

When this happen can you open task manager and see if there is more Mediamonkey.exe processes started?

Thanks for the help!
By disabling the splash screen, i saw that "Right Click for Scripts" was giving an error message. After clicking okay, it started working again.

Why not just have the splash screen NOT always to be on top?
