Hello,
With MediaMonkey 3 I was able to enable the column browser for the Music node of the tree, and it was always visible until I disabled it. That doesn't seem to be the case with MediaMonkey 4. If I enable the column browser when I'm at the Music node and then switch to the Now Playing node, the browser disappears as expected. However, when I go back to the Music node, it doesn't re-appear. Is there any way to get it to do so, or is this a bug?
Dave

Re: Column browser visibility not persisting
This is a bug, it appears that the column browser does persist between switching nodes, but when you bring the Now Playing node into view, then the column browser always disappears.
I've reported the issue at:

I'm new to the forum, so don't know if this should be a separate Bug Report...so I'll just add here...
When the Column Browser loses persistence, MM also resets the Video Column Browser column list to the Music Column Browser column list. The Video settings are lost. To recreate...
1. Make the Music and Video Column Browser columns different.
2. Click Now Playing.
3. Return to the Video Column Browser.
4. The Video Column Browser columns have been replaced by the Music Column Browser columns.
Thanks.
Steve

Re: [bug#8714] Column browser visibility not persisting
This I cannot reproduce as you describe. In fact, the video column browser stays up even after going to the Now playing node, where the music one hides. But the content of the browser doesn't change.sheng wrote:I'm new to the forum, so don't know if this should be a separate Bug Report...so I'll just add here...
