Song rols back when I give a score

Whe I give a score to a song that's playing, the song rewinds a little.

In the previous versions (< v4), I don't have this problem

Then you might have been using a different output plugin as it was a well documented problem in MediaMonkey 3 (especially with MP3).

I hate to argue with you Lowlander, but assuming The dev team use a Mantis bug tracker then this link: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8549, would imply that the problem is indeed a valid one and has been fixed twice, most recently in build 1449, only 13 builds ago. The problem also occurs for me with MP3s and it is a very annoying one. I have happily added ratings in other players without the same thing happening, so it should be technically possible to avoid this issue.

My previous searchings on the issue led me to believe that changing the output system merely had the potential to reduce the problem, not alleviate it, something my previous attempts to solve the problem in version 3 corroborated.

Each time I rate an mp3, the song jumps backwards for a moment

As a follow up, I get the same problem with all 3 of the provided output plugins even in this latest release. One of them is better than the other 2 but it definitely still happens, it occurs more regularly than not.

I changed back from MM4 to MM3 and now the problem is gone.
Im MM3 I use the standard output plugin: OUT_MMDS.dll without any problems.
When I change over to V4, the problem comes back.
What is changed in v4? For me there's a bug in v4.

Aaargh !
While upgrading from MM3 to MM4, I bought Gold Edition because I looove your app so much !
Imagine my disappointment when I encountered this same bug in my brand new fullfeatured player
Actually for me, the jump-backs are a little delayed after a rate click.
But since the tracker issue designated by nirwin shows you already solved that problem once, I hope you can do something rather quickly !

You may want to try switching output plugin (Tools > Options > Output Plug-ins) as it may resolve the issue.
