Play Count Keeps Synching on Each Plugin (iPhone 4)

Whenever I plug in my iPhone 4 into the computer, the playcount for a few songs keeps going up, even though I only listen to them once. For example, if I plug my phone in, then take it out five times a song's play count will go up by five, instead of one as you would expect. Synching the phone did not stop this, but once I deleted the content from the phone, then resynched the tracks to the phone it stopped, although I haven't tried playing a song and then plugging it in again.

Which version of MediaMonkey? Make sure you test with the latest beta from the Beta Forum.

i have and ipod touch 4g and the 1596 build

i have the same annoying problem, I discovered it only now, but I'm sure that the past beta versions (159x) already had this bug, now i can understand all the strange playcounts...
