After a few weeks of fine-tuning I present you my very first skin, "Fusion". The skin itself isn’t really anything new, but combines the best of the best. The float player comes from nohitter151’s Dark Vitreous. The icon set comes from the brilliant master skinner DreadM. The basic framework comes from CoachUK’s furious Abrax skin. On the one hand, it’s a tribute to the three mentioned persons, but I’ve also tried to bring something of my own.
My task was thus to coordinate the overall picture in order to eliminate weaknesses and inconsistencies. That was difficult. If I have succeeded can only say those who test my theme, but I’m happy and confident with this first version. Feel free to post suggestions and errors.
That would be perfect except for the checkered kind of background. Maybe a solid gray or white? Also, I don't know if this is even possible or how much work it would be, but I would love another skin with a Micro Player similar to this: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =9&t=41695, but I imagine that would be a lot of work or a total overhaul.
One annoyance though:
It's nearly impossible to tell from the track list, which track is playing, shouldn't it be bolder or in slightly different colour?

It’s impossible to skin the now-playing track colour, cuz it’s hardcoded. Maybe hopefully the developers will change this sometime. But: The now-playing track is bolded – that’s standard in MediaMonkey.

Currently there are a few non-reskinned areas. I will fix this when I get to it. The plan is definitely to install a completely new own skinned float player, which should still take a while.
Is there any way to change the text in the menus, the options, art and details, and status bar at the bottom from black to white? Really hard to see back text against a dark blue background.
This skin is absolutely fantastic. Most dark skins are too dark; depressing, hard to read. This creates "night" while excellent on visibility, clarity, and aesthetic. Thank you for taking the time to contribute something that makes such an impact on our experience as users. Great work. You are talented.
