Media keys does not work after computer has been locked

Post by gas »

System: Win XP SP2, Dell XPS Gen2 portable, Logitech Cordless Keyboard, MediaMonkey 3.0.0.1081

After starting MediMonkey the media buttons (eg. Play/pause) on the keyboard and on the computer works fine.

After Locking (WinKey+L) and unlocking (type password) the computer, the media keys no longer works.

DebugView shows not entries of detecting the keys, just pausing and unpausing the playback:

What Driver version you use?

I haven't been able to replicate on both EX-110 Cordless desktop (SetPoint v4.0) and on G15.

Does all work Ok after restart?

I have not installed the Logitech drivers, and thus use the standard Microsoft drivers (version 5.1.2600.2180). The media keys (both those on the keyboard and those built in on the front of the laptop) work fine without the Logitech drivers.

The media keys also work fine in Windows Media Player, even after the computer has been locked and unlocked.

And, yes, if I restart MediaMonkey, the media keys start working again in MediaMonkey.

:( As I thought so, will see what can be done for 3.0

Can I ask you to try replicate this with Logitech Drivers? (I know that you do not want to install but I need to be certain as I can't replicate the problem)
