MM 3.0 B2 and U3 Devices

Ok, now I have a confession to make, I have ignored all the warnings made by the dev team, and replaced MM 2.5 with 3.0 completely! (not without taking precautions such as backing up the db, however I have made heaps of changes, so I doubt my old 2.5 DB will work anymore) Dont worry, I do know what I am getting into, and will take responsibility for any issues.

Anyway, now that I have got that off my chest, I am coming across an annoying bug, MM B2 doesn't seem to like U3 USB Drives. I have a Sandisk Cruzer U3 drive, and when MM is running, and I connect it, MM locks up, and the only way I can get it to close is by removing the USB drive altogether, and if the drive is already connected, and MM loads up, it gets a little stuck as well.

Now it is not my intention to use this drive with MediaMonkey, but it is just annoying that I have to close MM when I want to use the drive, or vice-versa.

Otherwise I really don't have a problem with MM3, a couple of bugs here and there, which is expected, but overall, a nice piece of kit.

I personally disliked the U3 software and downloaded the Uninstaller.

Ignore the 'doom and gloom' warning about

Removing the U3 Launchpad is irreversible. ALL DATA ON YOUR U3 SMART DRIVE WILL BE ERASED. Be sure to back up your files before continuing.

The U3 software can easily be re-installed using the upgrade utility.
You can find them on the webpage of the FlashDrive's manufacturer.

Can you send me a debug log that shows what MM is doing when you plug in your device?

I can send you a debug log, not at the moment though. I think I may have found out the major problem, because the U3 device first mounts as a CD Drive, which means MediaMonkey automatically begins to search for FreeDB information. I disabled this automatically and it seems to run ok, but it still seems to slow down MM, or it could just be another bug.
