Hmm... It's strange that it crashes after a few song and not completely at the beginning... IMHO the AutoCalibration should need most memory but this works on your pc as it seems.

And attention please! There's a bug in MM 3.0! If you edit the preferences of a song with AutoRating it will be converted to a manual rating! The bug has already been reported and should be fixe in the next MM-release I hope.

Ok, here's a next version of the script:
AutoRateAccurate 2.1 RC12 - Installer
AutoRateAccurate 2.1 RC12 - for manuel setup

Changes since RC11:
-Changed: Merged the two scripts AutoRateAcc.vbs and AutoRateAccStarter.vbs. Saved diskspace: 7.6 KB

-Changed: Easier manual install. Just extract the files "for manual setup"-package into the Scripts/Auto-folder.
-Fixed: Toolbarbutton after uninstalling and reinstalling.
-Fixed: Minor bug.

There is still a bug in MM which converts AutoRatings and BaseRatings into Manual Ratings when editing songinformation!

An overview about all other problems not caused by the script:
-Reported and confirmed: I found the 'AR/BR --> MR' bug and reported it to the MM-devs. They added it to their bug tracker.
-Reported and confirmed: The little report-problem in MonkeyRok has also been reported to trixmoto. He tries to fix that for the next version.
-Reported and confirmed: Last.fm AutoDJ doesn't use the correct ratings. Will be corrected.
-Reported and confirmed: Little problem in Last.FM Node script with default settings. Will be corrected in the next release.

While I'm still waiting for the MM-devs to fix the rating-bug so that I finally can change the 2.1 status to final I already finished version 2.2.
Btw the MM bug affects all versions of AutoRateAccurate not only 2.1! But I want to wait anyway so that it' secure to use the script when the next version is final.

Since I only could test 2.2 on a small library you have to wait first. But here's a little screenshot

The manual has to wait first. For help on the different options just move the mouse over it and a box will appear.

Hi guys,
since I want to start beta testing of 2.2 soon I released the final version of 2.1 now. It's the same like RC12 which seems to be stable.

The complete changelog:
Version 2.0.2.4 to 2.1 (27/02/2008)
-Added: Option to prevent the script from writing the points into the customfield. Useful for portable users! (Other data like the SkipCounter are still stored!)
-Added: Additional fields (Encoder, ISRC) to store data like SkipCounter. (Thanks for the idea spacefish)
-Added: AutoCalibration can now be aborded. (Thanks nynaevelan)
-Added: New status 'NR' for songs with no rating.
-Changed: The setup has been improved a lot! Little example: It ask if the formula should be overwritten.
-Changed: Merged the two scripts AutoRateAcc.vbs and AutoRateAccStarter.vbs.
-Changed: Easier manual install. Just extract the files "for manual setup"-package into the Scripts/Auto-folder and restart MediaMonkey.
-Changed: Formula has been improved.
-Fixed: Manual ratings will not be deleted anymore if the script can't calculate an AutoRating. (Thanks Spazz)
-Fixed: Some SQL-problems.
-Fixed: A lot of stability problems.

Ok, here is it: The first beta of 2.2. I hope it doesn't need so much updates untill it get's final but I called it beta instead of RC to be on the safe side.

Changes 2.2:
-Added: Optionsheet shows additional informations. (Thanks for the idea Disple)
-Added: An easy way to choose between different formulas. (Thanks fore the formula BerniPi)
-Changed: AutoCalibrate is much (!) faster now! (Thanks Bex!!!!)
-Changed: The whole scripts runs OnTrackProperties now.
-Fixed: Stability problems.

The biggest improvements ist that the song immediately get autorated when they get changed. That's very useful for users of portable MP3-players and also when you rate a song by hand the status will be updated immediately! This feature needed some big changes in the code so there maybe bugs. But here it works.
The other big feature is that there are now three formulas by me and one by BerniPi. And you also can set one by yourself. This feature is very useful because like this BerniPi and me can provide improved formulas with updated scripts and your own formulas won't get overwritten.
The last visible improvement is the new Advanced-optionsheet which shows how much songs would get which rating with your setup and it shows the percentages of your manual ratings.
AND: The AutoCalibration is also much faster! Specially with "Also rate non-played but skipped songs" disabled and even faster with the formula which doesn't uses Skip in the formula. Special thanks to Bex for all his help!!!

With the 2.2 Beta I get the following error when I try to select BerniPi's formula:

Error #1006 - Microsoft VBScript compilation error
Expected')'
File: "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\AutoRateAccStarter.vbs, Line:945, Column 3

All of the other formulas work just fine. (Using Vista in case it makes a difference)

Same here and i get

Variabel not defined: MinSkip
File: scripts\auto\autorateaccstarter.vbs Line:1034 Column:5

When starting MM3. I only upgraded and did not remove the previous installation.
