No need to, it's empty (It only contains auto.txt)PetrCBR wrote:Please send me your complete Scripts\Auto folder (petr < att > mediamonkey < dott > com).
(I just made a clean install to ensure it wasn't because of an auto-script)

And you're sure you have write-access to your MediaMonkey.ini file ? Have you tried to shut down all programs (firewalls, AV soft etc.) before running MM ?Dreadlau wrote:No need to, it's empty (It only contains auto.txt)

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature-BUG5121
How can I test if i have write-access to my mediamonkey.ini file?
When I get home I'll try to shut down the av, firewall,... and report back.

Change another setting in the MediaMonkey option and see if it sticks.Dreadlau wrote:How can I test if i have write-access to my mediamonkey.ini file?

Ok Just tested and.
-Settings in options are remembered between session.
Meaning, if I understand correctly, that I have write-access to MediaMonkey.ini
-Disabling Antivir Guard, doesn't fix the issue (no firewall activated)
(position of the custom toolbars are still not remembered between sessions)
Let me know if you need more details/testing

Ok the place is remembered when I put the toolbar in the tree pane.
But it doesn't when I put it in the now playing pane.
This is using 1212.
Hope it can help you trace the cause of this behavior.

New toolbar can be docked anywhere in main window. However NP window is separate window and support for this will be post 3.1 (#4980).Dreadlau wrote:Ok the place is remembered when I put the toolbar in the tree pane.

To clarify,PetrCBR wrote:New toolbar can be docked anywhere in main window. However NP window is separate window and support for this will be post 3.1 (#4980).
Are you talking about "show play controls" and "show now playing controls"?
Cause I'm not talking about that.
But about a regular toolbar docked in the NP panel.
I mean,
If I drag and drop a toolbar to put it in the np pannel,
After restarting MM, the toolbar is back at the top of the screen.
Can you confirm we are talking about the same "toolbar"?
Thx

You are talking about the same thing, you cannot move any of the custom toolbars to the NP panel. The closest I've come is to move it to the botom of the tree pane.
I'm waiting on that update also.

It's just that it doesn't stick there after restarting mediamonkey.
