where does everyone go for lyrics when automated searches fail? i'm only half-way through the C's right now, but i have already come across several albums for which i cannot find lyrics, even with extensive google searching.
being a compulsive completist, i have to either have lyrics for all of my tracks or for none of them.
any suggestions?

Re: finding lyrics?
I use The Lyricator for the initial search. It is very good at finding them in batch mode for the first go round. After that I use Right Click for Web Tagging to individually find the lyrics. Unfortunately there are several tracks which either do not have the lyrics available or have the lyrics available on a site which does not allow copy/paste such as yahoo music. But I am working my way through them, I still have @1400 to get through.

Re: finding lyrics?
thanks for the reply.
but i'm actully looking for places to turn to when the various scripts and plugins fail.
what websites do people use when you have to manually search for lyrics because the scripts can't find them?
i think i'll have to transcribe some myself in the end. that's what i get for listening to obscure music i guess

Re: finding lyrics?
Generally when I have songs that I can't find the lyrics anywhere online, I transcribe them myself and then upload them to both:

Re: finding lyrics?
http://www.leoslyrics.com/ is where I upload all my lyrics to.
Unfortunately their advanced search has been broken for ages, but it's still a very useful site.
Other than that, it mainly depends on what kind of lyrics you are after. I find the scripts
mostly fail for rather obscure music, and you won't find those lyrics in big "general" databases manually either.
Hence I try to find more "specialized" sources, for example dedicated to that particular music genre
or geographic area, or fan sites for specific artists. Sometimes artists put all their lyrics on their official website as well.
Lastly, if all else fails and I really want to know the lyrics, I use my own 2 ears,
hit play/pause/jump back as often as necessary... and then UPLOAD the result of my efforts!
