I had been using MediaMonkey previously on Vista and then on the Windows 7 RC, with no problems whatsoever. I just upgraded to the retail version of Windows 7 and for the first time I'm having trouble with my MediaMonkey.
For no reason, at random times during playback, songs will loop backwards, but the seek bar or time of the track act as if the song is playing fine. I know its not the mp3's themselves, because they work fine sometimes and like I said this is completely random, and its really starting to bug me. It seems to be almost more likely to happen when MM is playing in the background, but not always. When it happens it happens a bunch of times, but not at set intervals, it might go an extra few seconds longer before looping each time, and by the time the song is over the time may be at 4:25 for example when the song is only 4 minutes long.
Absolutely nothing is difference since I upgraded to Win7 Retail except that I've installed a new hard drive, but I hardly think that could be the source of my problem. Help Please!

Make sure you have set the correct audio device in the active output plugin or try switching output plugin under Tools > Options > Output plug-ins.
Are you maybe tagging files when they loop?

I'll try that.
No, I could be doing anything, on Chrome, WLM, or even just have the computer idling aside from playing the music of course. Like I said, its random.
