Btw, since the next release, Toaster plug-in will work well in MM and so it could be also used for MSN.

Grrrrrreat!

Is Shane Hird making his Toaster plug-in work with MediaMonkey as well?
Maybe I can get some tips from him, and finally make XFade work in MediaMonkey as well.
I usually reply to ShaneH's posts at the Winamp forums.

Shane helped me in realizing what needs to be implemented in MM in order to support Toaster, actually no changes were needed in Toaster.

I've been using Toaster since reading here that MM supports it, and it has become an "essential" plug-in. Took very little tweaking to get it to work to my liking. Thanks Jiri (and Shane)!

Probably because the chinese language characters are not supported by that plugin. Don't know though.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

I feel a bit stupid because I'm sure I've got this to work before, but it's not now. It appears fine in Tools, Options, Plugins so I now it's installed in the correct folder. And MSN7 is setup to show music as my personal message. it's just not happpening. Any ideas/alternatives?

Are you playing any songs? I assume that you can see the plugin in the general plugins folder?

Is it possible that another plugin or software is trying to send data to the MSN now playing?

Another MSN plugin http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=146433 supports some shoutcast station.

And another http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=146591 which can also update to your website.

And yet another http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=145060 which has some configuration options.

And a toaster imitator http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=144799

I haven't tried them.

Cheers Lowlander - in the end I gave up with the plugin I was using and am using Toaster instead. Maybe it was Toaster I had working before, I don't remember.
