Re-associate File Types is not working

Post by Superfly »

I lost my MP3 association and I cannot get MediaMonkey to re-associate the file types even with the re-associate option checked.

I have tried un-associating but this also did not work. When I manually associated the file, it will not launch MediaMonkey when double clicking the MP3 file.

So what is the default player then? Maybe the other application is stealing the associations right back.

The default player used to be Winamp but was uninstalled.

The current version of MediaMonkey is the beta 4.0.0.1355

In that case you should report this in the beta forum. Bug reports forum is for current releases only.

Thread moved to beta testing.

I can't replicate with 1381

To test delete MP3 extension from Registry.
