Yeah, I kinda like the available options and the way you ironed most of the bugs out that were present in previous versions.
That's nice of you to consider coding upon my request. I won't be the only one supporting and bug testing those future Reports hopefully.

What I would like is to be able to hide (wrap up) the Artists panel in the HTML page by clicking on a icon
but that would be extra, really.

Also, I use the "Original Artist" field so I would appreciate to be able to use it in the Reports.
Provided that's relevant, just be careful about this date format possible issue I mentioned (people using xx/xx/19xx along with 19xx).

I installed the Advanced Report 6.0 script, it installed successfully, I even restarted MM (3.2.5.1306 GOLD), but I can't seem to find where to access this script.

For a sanity check, I installed the Custom Report script, and it showed up in the FILE | CREATE REPORTS menu, where I thought the Advanced Report script might show up.

Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

That's where it should be. If it's not installed properly then you can manually update the "Scripts.ini" file by copying the comment from the top of the script file.

Thanks for the reply, looks like that took care of the problem, and now 'Advanced Report' shows up and opens.

Cool.

I really love this script. Is it possible to split the html in more files? When using the script on large collections, it will be a bit too slow.
I ran into the Advanced Report Modify-script but that one seems dead (though it looks great too).

Maybe some functionality to split the html-file can be added to this original great script?

Yeah, there's a few different modes for that, check the options.

Great stuf! I'm almost able to create a list I can work with!

One more question. I tag my samplers with the seperate artists in field <Artist> and in <Album Artist> I put 'Various Artists'.

When creating a report I prefer to show all artists for a sampler (box 'Only include album artists' ticked off). This works fine.

For showing the compilation I use the mask '<Name> (<Artist>) [<Year>]' . This works fine as well !

But then, when clicking on 'Various Artist' in the albumview I get an error (file not found).

Is there a way I can use both the separate artists <Artist> on compilations and 'Various Artists' <Album Artist>?

It would be great to see all compilationalbums when selecting 'Various Artists'
and to see both normal and compilation albums when selecting the artist name.

Any help?

( If <Artist> differs from <Album Artist>
create items for both
)
Something like that will work fine for me, but I don't the exact vbs-syntax (and right place in your script)

I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to work, so it sounds like a bug. Can you let me know what options you are using? Might be best to email me a screenshot or something, as there's lots these days.

Hello,

is there a way to write the filetype behind the album name in the album list?

>> Album Mask: Name (Filetype)

Thanks in advance for your feedback

No, I wouldn't have thought so. The trouble is this is a track level value, so what would you expect if the tracks had different file types?

Hi Trixmoto!

Any news yet? Did I do something wrong or is it a bug?

Sorry, life's pretty busy for me at the moment, but I suspect it's a bug.
