... the undo button
I just googled this and people have been asking for it for years - it's a must

It depends on which one. Now Playing has undo, tagging doesn't, but that is probably due to the huge amount of data that may have to be stored if undo were available.

even if you just allow for undoing the last action only? that alone would save us a lot of grief :)

The last action could be on thousands of files, thus would be a large data set. I wouldn't be surprised if this is something that stands in the way of implementing this.

I understand - but iTunes has this feature (as do all the Microsoft Office programs) and it is very valuable - maybe MM can store the data outside of MM, or find another way of storing it?
For sure this is a negative in an otherwise excellent program

And that is the very reason why the Undo function is a Must Have.
You can bet yer life that we'll never see though.

Oh, don't mistake me, I'd like to see this as well (we have all been burned by doing something wrong we wish to undo). But a single undo could (but in most cases it won't) be 100's of MB's of data and having to write this would slow things down a lot.

The undo auto-organize script is a gem.
Coupled a current db backup it could ease some of the pain ...
