iPod Touch 5th Gen compatibility

Post by rusty »

Hi,

Has anyone tried MM 4.0.7 with iPod Touch 5th gen yet? Please share your experience (I haven't been able to procure one yet).

Thanks.

I don't know if this is too late of a reply, but mine does not sync any music. I'm using the latest released version. Do the beta versions being tested now work?

How does it fail to sync music? Does it not sync at all or does it seem to sync, but the device shows no music?

It will not sync any music whatsoever. It says "syncing" for a second then nothing, and no music is placed on the touch. This is using auto-sync however. Should I try manual sync?

Are you sure music is selected to be synced in the Sync-List (Auto-Sync (--< Device) on 4.1) tab? If so a debug log (step 4b) send to support is the best approach: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341

Playlists are set to be synced, but nothing goes over to the iPod Touch 5. Very disappointed, hoping the next version will work.

UPDATE: I discovered it's only auto-sync that doesn't work. "Send to" does work, which is ok with me for now! But unfortunately to remove music, I have to use iTunes. :(

UPDATE 2: Spoke too soon. The songs added refuse to play. Back to iTunes for the 5th gen iPd touch, VERY disappointed!!

Please re-test it with build 4.1.0.1624 (should be availbale today) and if also 1624 is not going to work then attach debug log from 1624 or send it to eSupport.

Thank you.
