Truncated lyrics in iPhone 5-ios7.1.2+ [#6156]

Hi to everybody,

I have an issue with sync of lyrics in my iPhone. Many songs have truncated lyrics and Music app shows me only first 6 lines while in MM lyrics are complete. I don't know how and why, but only few songs are showed with the complete lyric.

I tried to clean up all Music into my iPhone with iTunes and then re-sync it with MM but issue is not solved.

I sync my MM songs with my Synology NAS too and in the Synology Music app all lyrics are showed correctly.

I use the last version of MM.

I read some threads on this forum about this issue but nothing has been helpful to solve my issue.

Could someone help me to understand how to solve this issue?

Hi to everybody,
I have solved my issue. In the last week end I have reimaged my personal pc for others matters and I have installed a fresh installation of Mediamonkey, without restore my old library.
Now sync of lyrics works good.
So I think it could be a Mediamonkey issue related, but I do not know what.
I hope this could help someone else.

I'm also having this issue. I deleted all the songs off my device. Then resynced them and the lyrics are still truncated.

Iphone 5, latest IOS, when syncing an album to the iphone, only one of the songs on the album get full lyrics. The other songs are cut off with ... after about a page. Tried deleting all songs off the phone and resyching and it does the same thing. If I manually send the album to the iphone by selecting the album folder, the first song transferred has full lyrics, the other songs do not. If I send a set of three songs from an album to the iphone manually, it will have full lyrics for the first and third song and truncate the one in the middle. If I send six songs, it will do the same thing. First and last have full lyrics and the middle songs are truncated. If I send the album by selecting all the songs and sending them to the iphone, it will have full lyrics for the first and another song (not always the last) and the others are truncated.

Also, I noticed the issue of changing the lyrics and then synching the iphone doesn't resync/update the files. THis is a regression as it was fixed previously.

Really strange,
I have not been able to replicate in any way.
Tested iTouch5, 4.1.5.1712, iOS 7.1.2.

I have gone through the code several times and could not find any glitch that could cause this.
Are you sure that the lyrics are assigned correctly in MediaMonkey?
Right-clicking the affected track and Send to -> iPhone fixes the lyrics truncation or not?
Do you have any third party addons installed?

For a single track, yes. If I multiselect tracks or click the whole album, the truncation occurs. The lyrics are present in mediamonkey for all songs in their entirety.

Could you try to temporarily disable this addons by renaming the scripts folders:

./Program Files/Mediamonkey/Scripts/
./Users/<user>/AppData/Roaming/MediaMonkey/Scripts/

I renamed the scripts directories and it made no difference. I tried to auto sync an album with complete lyrics and only one song (the first one transferred) had complete lyrics. The others were truncated with about a page and ...

Hmm, strange. I still cannot replicate and don't see a reason for this.

If you add this single album to the sync-list and auto-sync the album, does the issue still happen or it happens only when using the "Send to" feature?
