I want to remove all embedded artwork in my collection and only use my local album/folder.jpg
Can someone help me with the easiest way to do this? I've been searching and playing with all the scripts I an find and can't figure this out.

Re: Remove embeded artwork, use only folder.jpg
I tried everything I could think of with that. Not at my pc right now do I don't remember all the issues I ran into but... If I use remove then it does that and I can't fugure out how to link back to the folder.jpg without doing it one at a time. Another way ended up exporting all the garbage images. If I overwrite then it works but replaces my good images. If I don't overwrite then I'm stuck with them using folder (1).jpg. Or whatever it isLowlander wrote:Use: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... art+tagger
Can you recommend some steps I'm not seeing?
Thanks for the help

If I could strip all artwork and add tell the tag to use folder.jpg it would be nice

Option 3 seems to do what you need.

Re: Remove embeded artwork, use only folder.jpg
Been trying everything I could think of. Here's what I'm getting.Lowlander wrote:Option 3 seems to do what you need.
Use option 3 to delete artwork. Even if I have a folder.jpg in the folder no artwork will show in mediamonkey.
If I copy and paste a new folder.jpg over the old one then it will show.
I can even copy the original folder.jpg to another folder then copy it back and it will show.
If I rename the folder.jpg then change it back to folder.jpg then it still won't show. But if I open the properties window and the artwork tab then there is a blank cd image in the top position and my folder image below it. If I remove this blank image then my folder image will start showing.
If I don't have a folder.jpg image in the folder but place one in it after I remove all images from the tags then I get that blank cd image in the tags again.
As I was typing the above I decided to test one more thing. I am able to use option 3, remove all artwork, then use option 2 and embed artwork as link. So I think this is my best option. Should I be seeing the behavior in the above part though? Any thoughts?
