Computer freezes when synching with iPod Classic

I recently ran into a problem with my iPod Classic 6 (160GB) and had to restore to its original settings. Now I can't get music from MM onto the iPod. When I try to autosync, it gets to about 50-100 songs, and then everything freezes up; not just MM, but my entire computer freezes up and the only thing I can do is reboot my computer. Then I have errors on my iPod, I repair the errors, try to autosync, and it happens all over again.

Does this sound like any known issue? I can't figure out what is happening.

Please use latest beta 1806+ as it has updated sync fixes

I tried that based on your suggestion, but the same thing is still happening. I wonder if the iPod is the problem, though there is no outward indication of a problem with it.

I tried synching to a new iPod, and it's doing the same thing, so it does appear to be an issue with MediaMonkey. Any ideas what else I can try?

You can capture the sync in a debug log (step 4b) and send the log to support for developer analysis: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... f=12&t=341
