[FIXED] suddenly MM will not sync with iPhone via Installed (non-app) iTunes [#16934]

Didn't work for me. I installed 1912 and now my itunes library is "unavailable"

Phone does not show up MM.

Phone doesn't show up in itunes either.

Ipad 7th gen. doesn't appear either (MM nor itunes)

Which version of iTunes and does it still show the device?

If iTunes doesn't see it either than it's out of MediaMonkey's hand. Have you restarted the device itself? Also try a different cable and different port on your PC.

Came here to report the same problem with iTunes 12.10.9 and MM 1910. Updating to 1912 resolved the issue. Thanks!

Did get itunes to recognize the device, but MM still doesn't.

rebooted after itunes started working, restarted the iphone.

any other ideas?

Suddenly (i.e. things worked a week ago), I can't access my old iPod Touch or my iPhone 6 with MediaMonkey(4.1.29.1910) in order to manage the music on them. Message tells me to install iTunes from Apple (not MS). I did this (twice), the second time:
1. Uninstalled all Apple programs on my Windows desktop computer
2. Reboot
3. Install the Apple 64bit version of iTunes using MediaMonkey FAQ article link
4. Connect iPhone 6
5. Launch MediaMonkey
... exact same message
Launching iTunes, I get an error message saying the device is unrecognized so I should do a factory reset. Trying to do that, failure again with iTunes message saying can't connect to server, check internet connection (which works OK for everything else!).
Arggggg....
Can anyone help?
I used to be able to raise a support ticket with MediaMonkey but that option.seems to have disappeared.

Uninstalled itunes after I got an alert in MM about not using the Windows store version.

Found the latest 64 bit version, uninstalled the one I had and installed the download.

Back up and running.

So, I'm back.

Updated to 1912
Finally got the "right" itunes.

I could get music on my iphone in MM.

But now, when I sync the phone in itunes to back it up, all the music is removed. Haven't changed any itunes settings, but have tried several times and each time the music is gone.
(I do have the "manually manage music" box checked in itunes)

Anyone else see this?

Yes, iTunes is removing music uploaded by MM now.

Solution is to avoid using iTunes for syncing or use iMazing app ( https://imazing.com/ ) that is much powerful and does not remove music uploaded by MediaMonkey.
It allows to back up your iPhone content too.

I hope you mean that it's a temporary solution..

I don't use itunes for anything but backing up my phone and ipad. Is a fix in the queue?
