MMA2: App crashes after click on cast icon [#19707]

I Just set up 1103 build. It works fine.
I deleted 1152 of corse and downgrade to 2.0.0.1103

Thank you for the effort and analyze. I reopened the bug foir checking what have been changes since 1103.

I would like to ask you to check build 1153 after it gets released as it fixes 5+ Casting issues.

Again, thank you for patience and persistence in getting to bottom of this, it really means a lot to us.

Hey, I'm also facing massive problems with casting.

I have MMA 2.0.0.1156 installed. After selecting the device to cast to, the app instantly crashes.

I got some new Bose speakers yesterday which I wanted to test. You should see dozens of crash reports in your database.

Can you say when build 1157 will be released? I've got 2 weeks left for testing my new speakers until return period ends.
So far VLC player app can stream but does a bad job. It randomly stops playback and sometimes stutters.
I have never had those casting problems with older versions of MMA.

Build 1157 fixes the casting issues for me.

MMA does multiple things better than other apps, e.g. VLC player:

- VLC casting often stutters at beginning of new tracks
- VLC casting randomly stops after a few tracks
- MMA makes casting volume controllable via hardware volume keys
