MM Hanging at splash screen [#21491]

Ever since I installed the latest update (3103) last week I find MM often hangs at the splash screen. It's done it maybe 4 or 5 times since installing the update and just shows the splash screen and gets stuck there. I usually have to go into task manager and kill MM and then launch again. It usually works OK then.

Please capture this hanging in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.

MMW has started doing this again on latest update (3107). It often hangs maybe 2 or 3 out of 5 launches and I have to quit via task manager and restart, then it's usually OK.

Have skilled v3106 and just installed v3107
First startup took, about 1minute before splash screen popuped up. Then took about 10min before mediamonkey showed up.
Mediamonkey was very slow to react to things, so almost unresponsive.
After exit with taskmanager. MediaMonkey started fast.
But still GUI is mosty unresponsive, cannot use it.
MediaMonkey.ini contains DisableGPU=1 to prevent Exception Violtation crashes..

Installed v3108, and speed is still slow, when splash screen hangs takes up to 10min to start MediaMonkey, and is unworkable.
Sometimes it does startup, but still is slow and can't use it.

No time at the moment to make debug log.

I haven't had much time to try the update yet but it seems OK so far. I've probably launched it 2 or 3 times and haven't seen any problems so far. Will try it again later when I'm at my PC.

I am doing the debug logs today, made multiply debugs log for diffrent behaivors during startup. Will upload them to ticket today.

Actually I've just tried to launch MMW 3108 this morning and it's still hanging. I have to exit via Task Manager and relaunch, then it seems OK again.

As documented at https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=21491 all other reports of this issue seem to be resolved. Are you still experiencing this with 3110?

If so, can you share a debug log? We're hoping for a final RC this week, but I'd like to make sure that this is fixed before we release 2024.1.

I think it seems to be OK now Rusty. Sometimes it feels like the splash screen is maybe displayed for a little longer than it used to on previous builds but I don't think I've had any complete hangs/crashes at startup since the 3110 update.
