Playing window header

Post by dma29 »

Hi all.

The 'Playing' window on the right has a header that shows 'Playing 72/71 (03:24:47)'
What does this mean?
I get that it's playing the 72 track in the queue.
But what is '/71 (03:24:47)'?

If, cautious pause, if this is supposed to show the number of tracks and total duration of the queue - how do I get it to update? For instance, right now there are 139 tracks in the queue.

Thx. Dwayne A.

/of total files and duration.

This updates when a file starts playing.

Thx for the reply, Lowlander.

Hmmmm. Been playing all afternoon a new track (file) about every 3.5min, now on track 80 of 139 but header still shows 'Playing 80/71 (03:24:47).

What don't I understand about how this is updated?

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using and does it show the correct values after restarting MediaMonkey and starting to play a file?

Hi there.

Okay.
MediaMonkey 2024.2.0.3184

Clearing the queue and loading new music did not change the end of the status line. It continued to show '/71 (03:24:47)'.

Closing MMW and restarting brought back the desired queue with the correct status line.
Adding new content to the queue after restart the status line continued to display correctly.

I'm going to watch it more carefully now.

So it somehow got stuck in a stuck state. Question is what triggered this? Please let us know if you find a way to reproduce.
