This might be interesting for some of you. It seems to support WinAmp so maybe it supports MediaMonkey too.

According to the site FAQ, MOG supports MediaMonkey, but as of right now I'm sitting here with the latest MOG-O-MATIC client beta running in the tray, and it's not picking up any of the tracks I'm playing in MediaMonkey (and I even threw in some more-mainstream-than-usual tracks to be sure it wasn't just my usual relatively obscure music preferences).

UPDATE
After working with one of the MOG project people, I discovered that a fresh uninstall/reinstall of MediaMonkey fixed the problem. Now I have MM running with Last.FM scrobbling and MOG mogging...h'ray!

Yup, it's me again.
Mog-O-Matic appears to be temperamental as far as MediaMonkey is concerned, and I'm not really sure why. It was working for a while, and now it doesn't. Go figure.

Re: Yup, it's me again.
I'm wondering if any other MediaMonkey users can help me figure out why I don't have a problem with the Mog-O-Matic client tracking play data from WinAMP, but right now isn't tracking from MediaMonkey (it's supposed to work with MediaMonkey). Could it have something to do with lack of Gracenote support? Or perhaps I need to use the WinAMP input playback driver?deusdiabolus wrote:Mog-O-Matic appears to be temperamental as far as MediaMonkey is concerned, and I'm not really sure why.
