File Monitor in Vista question for Devs

Post by EliteXen »

Are there plans to have this fixed eventually or will it always remain and NT, 2000, and XP only feature?

Unless I'm going crazy, in case it's broken it will get fixed (but I'm not a developer).
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).

Well that's why i'm asking the question. Because I'm not sure if it's just broken at the moment or if it's entirely unsupported. The fact that in the options it says it only supports NT, 2000, and XP leads me to believe that it is unsupported with no immediate plans to implement it. So basically I shouldn't get my hopes up for Vista file monitor in Alpha 5.

I'm not a developer, but I think that there's 99.9% chance that this is right:

File Monitor functionality will be in MM3 too. If it doesn't work yet, then it will be fixed. The fact that in the options it says it only supports NT, 2000, and XP is just because this text isn't updated yet.
