MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1391 (Developer Build)

Post by rusty »

Hi,

Here's a new build with ~5 fixes to a few misc issues (including a regression in Auto-DJ). Roughly 5 'urgent' bugs still stand between this and a release candidate. We're looking forward to your feedback--please raise (or re-raise) any serious bugs that you've noticed to the forum. Thanks.

What's new? Download Installation:
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions:
-When prompted for an install directory, choose a new directory such as /Program Files/MediaMonkey4/ so as to preserve your existing MediaMonkey installation.
-When prompted for path to shortcuts, choose something like 'MediaMonkey 4' so that you'll have shortcuts to both versions of MediaMonkey in your Start folder.
-To test video encoding functionality (for formats other than WMV) or to play video formats that aren't working on your machine, you can install the MediaMonkey Codec Pack, available separately.
Enjoy!

Hi,

It's time for another build, but I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who are taking the time to play with MM4, for submitting bug reports, and for putting up with the regressions that have crept in the code. Without your feedback, MM could never be what it is.

The march towards a release candidate continues. This build includes another ~20 fixes, improving performance and resolving some (not all) installation issues that some of you are having with languages and extensions. Also, thanks to Enrico, Carlos, and Jan who've finalized the German, Portuguese, and Slovakian translations. See the links below for further details.
