Batch Art Finder 4.2 - Updated 03/07/2012
Re: Batch Art Finder 3.5 - Updated 19/07/2010
I am definately experiencing the same issue as lukasxxl
I can see images which follow my BAF settings on the new Google Images interface but BAF is not showing these options.
I have tried setting my browser to use the Google Images Basic interface but this is not assisting BAF
It seems that BAF is only reading the *preview* thumbs.

The Problem with the PreviewPics from Google happens from time to time,
not sure what cause the Problem >>>
What helps me in this case is:
Close Mediamonkey, clear/delete your temporary internetfiles in your browsers (IE, Firefox, ...)
Go to your Windows User Profile and delete all your Temp Files, Mediamonkey creates some cache files and folders.
To delete Temp Files search sth. like this and delete all Files and Folders in the Temp Folder:
WinXP:
C:\documents and settings\*YOUR PROFILE*\local settings\Temp\*.*
(folder is hidden, change your browser viewing options)
Win7:
C:\User\*YOUR PROFILE*\App Data\Local\Temp\*.*
do not delete the Mediamonkey Folder in C:\User\*YOUR PROFILE*\App Data\Local\Mediamonkey
this is your MM database
it´s not a big thing, but be sure to just delete the stuff in the Temp folders !

hello! I have problem with this script...it keeps searching and it never stops...I mean it shows album art for 1sec and right after it shows another...and it keeps going and going and going...how can I fix it? thank you"
Re: Batch Art Finder 3.5 - Updated 19/07/2010
Firstly, simply awesome script
Unfortunately it is no longer working for me
It worked perfectly at first, then I started getting smaller images, now all that happens is it searches for a couple of seconds and then says [No results], even to albums which is previously found album art for.
I tried clearing all the files in my temp directory, but still no joy. Is there anything else that I can try?

I feel quite sure that BAF is confused by the new Google images.
Under some circumstances i.e. specific O/S or IE browser-related configs, maybe?
I am getting closer to this being the bottom line issue.
Reading Google thumbs only and then ruling them out according to BAF personal settings.
However, of course, I have no information re: a solution.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.5 - Updated 19/07/2010
any way to have BAF auto-resize a chosen pic if its not a certain size by default?
Like say its only finding results for 300x270 but you want it 400x400, so with that chosen in the preferences, instead of downloading in its native size it'd save as the chosen size instead.
Was just curious if something like that could be done, so both MM and Monkeyflow would have an even, fairly constant size.

I think I tried to add this option once before, I'm not sure why I couldn't/didn't. I'll put it on my list to try again for the next version.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.5 - Updated 19/07/2010
Is there anyway to direct the Batch Art Finder script to an image stored on my harddrive. I have lots of odd and live shows that I am trying to get tagged with some sort of art. If this is not the script to use for this is there another one or some standard MM function that does this easily in a batch mode?
Other than this the script works great I have used it lots of times!
Thanks,
Jeff

I installed the latest minor program upgrade from Media Monkey and the issue seems to have corrected itself.webfeatus wrote:I feel quite sure that BAF is confused by the new Google images.

So the issue seems to have been some association betweween BAF and MM.exe
Which a re-installl seems to repair.
