As long as you've ticked the relevant options in the settings sheet then this should just work like the albums do.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

Batch Artwork - No Result

Post by shape90 »

Hi,

It seems every time im trying to get album art using the batch artwork script it say "no result" to all of my albums...
I've changed all of the album names to be the same as the artist name.

Any one know how could I solve this problem?

thank you !

By saving the image to my ID3 Tag, the script freezes and i have to kill mediamonkey process.

Hi

Thank you for that quick reply, however, please can you point me in the right direction so that I can download the art finder that is compatable with Media monkey. I downloaded Tidy Songs which is another art finder but it automatically goes to my itunes, which i also have on my computer. There isn't an option that I can find to direct it to Media Monkey which is what I am using for now, if I can get it all sorted out. Please can you post me the link for me to download the art finder that works with Media Monkey please.j

Thank you so much for your help

Google as a source is still working fine for me. Can someone who it's not working for please send me a debug logfile?

Just used the script after a clean install. W7. MM 3.2.1304
Worked fine for about 100 results. Using Google as source. Now getting "No results on everything"
Switched to rate your music, search is working and returning results but went to save and got the following error:

Error #424-Microsoft VBscript runtime error
Object required: 'inet'
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto|Batch Art Finder.vbs ", Line 2621,Column :2

Have you tried manually registering the Inet component?

Try this commend in the "Run" box, or a command prompt window...

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\msinet.ocx" /s

...making sure that you correct the path if necessary.

I used the command.
Google: Seemed to work again for about 100 searches and is now returning "No results". Was saving without problems.
Rate Your Music: Has always worked but the artwork is too small for my needs. Saves OK.
Juno: I just get the "low priced CD's" image but that is probably down to the items I'm searching for being a bit more obscure.
Some searches come up as No Result. Saves OK.
AlbumArt: Just returns a "UnionJack" image for everything. Saves OK.
ArtScrobbler: Error message instantly.
Error #500 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Variable is undefined: 'Log Me'
File: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\BatchArtFinder.vbs",Line:3821, Column: 8

Update: After checking all the other sites I went back to Google and it was working again.
Updated 100 albums no problem.
Searched another 100 albums and it stopped agian after 50ish results. Then MM crashed on saving those 50.

Update 2: Waited 30mins went back to Google. Working. Did a few saved ok. Now not working.
Seems Random. I'll just give it a go every now and then and hope for the best.

many Thanks for a great script.
