This seems to be working, I am going thru them now.

I have another problem with the artist à;GRUMH... The name displays correctly in tags and library, but all other places (Taskbar, Scrobbles and MicroPlayer) the name displays as à;;GRUMH... (two semicolons in stead of one). I've tried changing any settings which might have influence on this problem, but I've had no luck so far.

Rockarola,

When I have an artist=artist1;artist2, it displays as "artist1;artist2" in the miniplayer, taskbar. I didn't test how it scrobbles (note: using skinned mode).

Can you elaborate on what settings you're using?

Thx.

Now that I remember, there is another problem with multi artists during add/rescan...

I have the pipe symbol | as my separator, and when I fix all the problem artists then rescan it splits them back up into separate artists again.

actually, just trying to fix à;GRUMH... again in 1229, it appears to fix track list but every time I collapse and expand the tree it shows up as split again (meaning separate à and GRUMH...).

Rockarola,

No need. I can reproduce the issue. See: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=5467

In your link jiri states that the double ";" is expected behavior, and I can see the logic in that. I just fail to see why I can not reverse that change. No matter what I do, "à;GRUMH..." still displays as "à;;GRUMH...". The properties of the tracks reads correct (both in MM and in my tag-editor), but Album Artist, Taskbar text and Scrobbles still display the double ";". If this is NOT a bug, how do I make it stop displaying the double ";"? (It may seem like a lot of complaining about one single artist, but à;GRUMH... are amongst my frequently played artists, and so it annoys me. :-))

I am running .1249 on Vista Home, with Glided skin and Last.fm scrobbler 1.0.2.17

Rockarola,

See more information about this issue at: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=5529

Unfortunately, this will likely remain a limitation of 3.1.0 at release. The workaround would be to use a different splitter such as |.
