Ive fiddled around with everything you just said Bobble and I'm with nohitter151 and I can't seem to reproduce this as well. Ive noticed on your last picture you didnt actually order it by date so you should try to order it by date and post back to see if its happening again.

Because you need to sort it! It will only display the tracks of the album as you've sorted them, and you didn't sort them properly.

Bobble, you're using a different view, not sure how that it applicable.

In the views that I illustrated in my first post, sorting by date produces the correct result, but this is 'forgotten' as soon as another artist is selected, although the albums are still sorted by date (though now the track order will be wrong until Date is clicked again).

The sorting of the sub nodes is based on the parent, so you need to first do the correct sort in the top level Artist and album artist node. It works fine for me.

There are definitely some sorting problems in current builds (I can replicate the fact that 'hidden' sorts aren't always working). These will be tracked at:

Installing 1424 fixed the issue I described. Awesome. No more re-sorting every time I want to play something.

Update: 1424, most albums now sort properly, except for multiple artist compilations, which seem to revert to alphabetical order.
